This listed commercial/industrial corporation is looking for an eager Jurist to join their small human sized team in the centre of Luxembourg. This position will report directly to the General Secretary and you will work closely together for the responsibilities listed below.

Function information

Your Responsibilities

• Preparing and managing general meetings, boards of directors, supervisory boards, and the minutes of the holding companies
• Managing publications on the market and on the stock exchange
• Participating in the preparation of the annual report
• Following-up on the various regulations, implementation of procedures and preparation of documents such as MAR, FATCA, CRS, etc.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with banks, lawyers, auditors and local service providers: payroll, accounting, offices, etc.
• Monitoring the holding companies: statutory changes, capital increases, follow-up of mandates, control of powers limitations
• Keeping up to date on the legislation of French company law, contract law, competition law, etc.
• Observing share sale transactions
• Drafting of contracts
• Insurance management
• Responsible for general office tasks

Requirements

Your Profile

• Law Degree is essential
• Several years of experience in a legal role
• Knowledge of Luxembourg or French company law is a must
• Fluent French and English is a must
• Strong and open communicational skills
• Hands on with the ability to adapt and be pragmatic
• Reliable with good team spirit
• Flexibility to travel within Europe once a month for 2 days
