Function information

Your Responsibilities

• Lead material sourcing by doing benchmarking, prepare requests for quotation (rfq) and compare offers
• Make sure that you will carry out worldwide suppliers’ audit and assessment
• Implement purchasing strategies in collaboration with your management while following the company policies
• Negotiate contracts for series production and create the contracts
• Manage purchasing database and monitor pricing development
• Make sure that existing suppliers are regularly evaluate and challenged

Requirements

Your Profile

• You hold a Bachelor or Master in economic, business administration, purchasing and/or any relevant field
• You have at least 3 years of experience in similar position
• Very good judgement ability and strong communication and negotiation skills
• High analytical thinking, you are able to work under pressure
• Ability to work on your own but you should also be able to work in a team
• You are fluent in English, German would be considered as a very strong asset
• You are open to consider international business trips
