You will become part of a team of accountants, lawyers and secretarial support that manages a portfolio of client companies. The main focus of this role will be to supervise and take an active role in this structured finance team in Luxembourg.
Your key tasks and responsibilities are:
•Management of the team’s daily workload, review of their work and taking final responsibility for all legal and accounting issues for client companies;
•Communicate with and advise clients, (tax) advisors, lawyers, notaries, other professionals, government institutions and other offices worldwide;
•Support our marketing and sale efforts by developing a network of professionals and advising existing clients and prospects on (new) structures;
•Maintain and develop a good network of internationally established clients;
•Involvement in other aspects of client work such as corporate, legal and tax;
•Liaising with corporate secretarial staff in ongoing legal and compliance matters.
The following qualifications and experience will be highly regarded:
•University education in corporate or fiscal law;
•Approximately three years experience in a comparable position preferably within the structure finance business in Luxembourg;
•Having an established network of Lux Tax Lawyers, Lux Law Firms and Lux Audit Firms and an exposure to tax driven structures is definitely an advantage;
•Commercial, service-minded and dynamic attitude;
•Willingness to further develop (international) tax and company law knowledge;
•Responsible, reliable and ability to work within a team;
•Fluency in French and English is essential.
