Introduction
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Senior Finance Manager is responsible for the management of the Accounting, Billing, Reporting and Treasury responsibilities within the Finance Department (which has 9 people).
Function information
Your Responsibilities
Accounting and Financial Reporting:
• Oversee the work of the Financial Reporting Manager and team and ensure that all financial reporting and LUX GAAP statutory accounts are accurately recorded and all relevant deadlines are met
• Liaise with external auditors on relevant matters concerning statutory and group audits
Billing:
• Responsible for the billing process and to ensure accurate and timely preparation of billing for approval
• Manage the work of the Billing Administrator
• Subject matter expert for billing process
Treasury:
• Manage cash flow and liaison with the group Treasury
• Maintain good relationships with key contacts of banking service providers
• Seek ways to make treasury operations more efficient
Team Management:
• Provide leadership to team, including clarifying priorities and providing support to subordinates. Manage the team and perform the appraisals of the team members
Requirements
Your Profile
• A relevant Degree or qualification in Accounting
• Minimum experience of 5 years in a similar position, ideally in Luxembourg
• Good people management experience
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is a must
