Our client, an industrial company, has more than 50 years of experience, recognised as a global leader in the manufacture, supply and application of their products serving multiple markets.

The company offers a friendly environment within its Luxembourg office.

To support their strong growth, they are looking for a new:

Customer Service Representative/ Sales Assistant (permanent placement, CDI). The position is reporting to the Customer Service Manager.

Function information

Your responsibilities

• You will take full responsibility of assigned customers’ relationship and support. This includes: orders receipt, development of customer-supplier relationship in collaboration with outside sales representatives, and follow-up of customers’ files and requests
• You will be the contact person between the customer and the plant. You will understand and study your customers’ needs, and will suggest the most suitable way to meet their expectations. You will be developing relationships with customers; this is not a call center environment
• You will work closely with production, shipping, finance and logistics departments and will also be responsible for quotation and for follow-up of projects
• This requires an excellent knowledge of your markets and customers, as well as production and logistics constraints

Requirements

Your profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a Customer Services/ Sales Assistant role with an industrial sector
• Having a logistic experience is a strong plus
• Fluency in English and ideally German. French is a strong asset
• Some knowledge of export documentation and procedures in Europe
• Knowledge of SAP|ERP
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft office applications, especially excel
• Strong sense of Service
• Rigorous and methodical
• Excellent organisational skills and a great sense of initiative
• Autonomous and proactive
• Adaptability and flexibility
