Our client is looking for an Event Manager to join a team of 5 entirely dedicated to organising more than 250 events per year for its customers. They are tailoring trade fairs, conferences, lunches, group trips, etc. throughout Europe (and beyond) and they would love to welcome a new member.

You would contribute to the success of the marketing strategy by supporting and reinforcing this dynamic event team and you would report directly to the Global Event Manager.

Function information


Your Responsibilities

• Organisation of events from A to Z for the UK, Latin America, and part of Belgium in collaboration with the Sales teams, the speakers, the Marketing department and the other members of the Events team. Event types: conferences, lunches, fairs, incentives, sponsored conferences…
• Follow-up of the validation workflow via the dedicated online tool
• Act as an advisor for the distribution team
• Planning and on-site organisation, search of venues, production of the invitation and post-meeting messages, surveys and post-meeting reports/analysis
• Show proactivity by recommending potential improvements
• Project management skills: negotiation of prices and management of the dedicated budget
• Participation to the organisation of large global events, and back-up for other team members
• Be a source of proposals for new types of events or marcom actions (digital events, goodies, etc.)
• Liaise with the marketing team for documentation to be given at events, funds to be promoted and share information about the competition

Requirements


Your Profile

• Bachelor or Master in Communication/Marketing
• 3 to 5 years of experience in event management, ideally in the financial sector
• Ability to organise one-to-many events autonomously
• Available to travel across Europe for organisational purpose
• Native English speaking is required. Fluency in French or another language is a strong asset
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Solid organisation skills
• Sense of anticipation, good problem-solving skills, reactivity
