We are recruiting for this established bank a junior depositary officer to join their depositary bank. It is a newly created job opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial team of 7 people.
Function information
Your responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be varied and cover the onboarding of new and existing clients. Those will include among others:
• The follow up of the cash flows of the onboarded funds
• Due Diligence of the various shares managed
• The assessment of the investment strategy applied by the shareholder (due diligence, product awareness ….)
• Oversight of the external providers regarding cash / registrations / transactions and instructions
• Participate to the control plan and procedures applicable to the internal and external processes
• Take part to board meetings and internal committees when breaches are being noticed
Requirements
Your Profile
• Bac + 5 preferably from a Commerce school or in finance / Business Management
• Fluency in French and English with excellent written and spoken communication skills
• A first experience of 1-2 years in a depositary bank, a risk department or an audit / advisory firm
• A very good knowledge of the real estate and private equity funds industry in Luxembourg as well as the regulations (AIFM)
• Risk aware, who enjoys to improve existing processes, curious with excellent interpersonal skills.
