This is a great opportunity to join an international group. As a Treasury Accountant, you will play a key role in strengthening the financial reporting team. You will be responsible for the financial record keeping and for the broad internal financial reporting activities. In this position, you will report to the team leader of the Financial Reporting department.

Function information

Your Responsibilities

• Being responsible for the internal financial record-keeping and reporting processes, including but not limited to periodical closing activities
• Working closely with the accounting and financial reporting teams during the monthly closing process, helping the teams with any technical questions and ensuring a smooth communication and process flow during the closing period
• Being responsible for the annual accounts
• Following to the closing periods, reporting about the financial performance and results of the group (intercompany transactions, interest rates, FX rates, …)
• Participating in treasury controlling activities
• Preparing treasury, tax and transaction analysis together with the equivalent teams
• Working closely with external parties, including auditors, and providing financial information per requests
• Participating in multiple finance projects

Requirements

Your Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. Qualification (ACCA, CPA or ACA) is an advantage.
• Around 5 years of experience in a similar position (in-house treasury accounting)
• Strong knowledge of technical financial accounting and treasury accounting
• Strong experience in dealing with closing activities, hedge accounting, financial instruments, and derivatives
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP
• Fluency in English is a must. Any additional languages would be considered as a plus.
• Highly skilled in SAP and MS Office
• Good analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to make decisions and propose relevant solutions
• Flexibility during closing periods
